I can not quite remember but i saw photoes of a V6 with a carb setup a while back somewhere, it may have been the South African GTV6 3 litre, does anyone have this setup or know where some could be purchased easily and what would be involved in the swap over EFI to carb in say a 90 or 75?
I have three 90s and would think it fun to swap one of them over from EFI to carb one day.
At a start i would guess they would suck up alot of fuel and keeping them in tune would keep you up on the maintenance, anyone have some experience?
Quite why you'd bother is beyond me...but try sourcing in Europe. The setup was standard on early Alfa 6's.
if you have 3 90s why not, give it a go.

Just had a quick search on the internet and the Alfa 6 has an amazing story attached, may as well call it the first 164, shes a big baby, in the big picture there were two versions the early ones were yes carburettor defined by round headlights and the later ones EFI defined by square headlights as in the photo above, this one in Australia is the EFI version so pretty much has the same looking engine bay as a 90 or 75, still intersted does anyone know where this one ended up?
Also checked YOUTUBE and there was some great clips, the asian region overseas really love them, they had quite a few that looked restored and there were some fantastic engine clips and the noise coming out of those carb V6s almost undescribable, leaves alot of free room in the engine bay too, i will have to get one, i wonder where the manual fuel pump was on the V6s, anyone know?

Hmmm, they're only a small displacement engine, I wonder how a set of Keihin CVK's would work?
I recall a topic on the Alfa transaxle website, a guy was talking about his carbed 2.5, it had a low pressure electric fuel pump on it. Probably the easiest way to go, just swap the EFI pump for a low pressure pump and run a regulator teed back into the return line for the EFI in the engine bay.

Still intersted but where would the manual pump be mounted on the V6?
Found the photo of the above Alfa 6 engine bay, air canister is a bit different shaped to the 90s and 75s!
I'd use a Holley 12-804 pressure regulator (good for 1 to 4 psi) and a pump something like these ones:

Although, the lift pump in tank MIGHT be enough to handle the task by itself. Trial and error would tell.

That's interesting that the booster is on the right side on that RHD Sei.
There was an Alfa 6 in WA some years ago but current whereabouts of this vehicle unknown.
