Title: What do I do?
Post by: Kendall on June 14, 2007, 09:02:04 PM
My son acquired a 1968 or 1969 Alfa GTV 1750 as a project to complete amnd then prompytly left overseas for a while - 12 months later no sign of him wanting to return and he now wants me to sell the car to fund his travels for a while longer. We are in country NSW and need suggestions how to go about selling the car. It had previously been restored and registered in NSW up till a few years ago, it was running (very well) before he left but now hasn't been started for about 6 months. Does need a bit of work I think to get back registered.

Find out what he paid for it and work out what he is willing to take for it and put an ad in the buy/swap/sell section, there's also that ebay thing

How about charging up the battery and get it going - it's a great car but a much more attractive proposition if it is running.

If it needs a few things done to meet registration or roadworthy requirements then that's a seperate issue and negotiable.

Good Luck !
