What is interesting is the road fatality statistics. When seat belts were introduced, fatalities dropped. When RBT was introduced, drop in fatalities. When sped radar and cameras were introduced, no drop in fatalities.
The people have to stand up and tell the politicians they are not cash cows. I don't know how, but it has to be done.
Perhaps if EVERY driver went through a speed camera and was fined, it would overload the system. Perhaps if EVERY driver refused the fine and launched a class action against all the governments, it would be banned?
I don't know, all I know is there are far, far worse things drivers do every day that are not punished.
