Title: Spettacolo Walk through History - Current model cars needed
Post by: John Hanslow on October 09, 2010, 05:39:57 PM
We finanising our list of cars that have been nominated but we are lacking in new or current model vehicles.

We need:

- 159 sedan - a Ti would be nice.
-  Brera 2.2 or 3.2.
- Spider 2.2 or 3.2
- Mito - any club members have one ?

That's it.  pass this request on please or follow on with this thread.

We need a name, mobile number and email to get out invitations.

Thanks.

probly not the preferred option, but if you get stuck, my brother has a 09' 159 1.9 diesel sedan, in black with the cream leather. Like i said, only if you become desperate, but surely there are a few 159 owners out there.

Hi John,

I'm coming in late on this thread but is this for the Spettacolo at South Yarra on Nov 14th?

I'm up in Sydney ( Ive been speaking to Barry Edmunds) and have a new white Mito Multiair QV if you're still looking for some of the newer models.... It needs a good run!  ;D

A pic is in Introductions as well as the NSW AROCA Photo gallery under HMAS albatross.

Please advise.

Cheers,

Al

John

Spettacolo clashes with FunFlight this year. FunFlight is a charity thing where a whole bunch of aircraft owners take sick kids for a joyflight and wind up at Tyabb for an impromptu airshow / BBQ. I'm committed to that, but if you really want a Brera than give me a call and we'll see if you can organise someone to take mine.

Fantastic, call me off line on 0409-961-719 with your details and I will nominate your car for the 'final' but equally important place in the 100 yr historical display.

Cheers.

Green or maybe can't see the grass for the mud....

Never seen this description of rain on an official site before..."Tons of rain." LOL

Though you can't trust the weather forecasters at the best of times (I once got told off by the head of engineering at mazda Australia for saying that). Hope they get it wrong...again! LOL

Great link.

If you click on top tab 'hour by hour', get the bar chart, look at bottom of the chart and click on Sunday, the  you will see that rain is predicted from Midnight to about 8.00am with nothing after that.

Give or take Melbourne weather changes matched off with world class predictions, you can leave the umbrella in the back seat and slap on the sin screen.

Besides  flash flooding of the Yarra, it is going to happen.

Cheers.

Great weather site ....."TONS OF RAIN" - is that a technical term from the BOM ?
