After striping my engine down i found that the crank bearings where in exelent condition bretty much brand new no wear what so ever.
So with the crank being free from scratches i dont need to get the crank ground and i need to know what bearings it had.

I did a google search and i found this

My guess is they are .010 oversized.
Does anyone know ?

Can't help with the size - I suspect I will have the same problem when I rebuild my engine (just getting the parts together now) so I will be interested in any answers. thanks nigel. i am planing to buy all my stuff from spruell but another question i was going to ask is is there a differance between the early 2.0 and the l8er 1980+ 2.0ltrs? It has stuff for 2.0s from (this isnt the correct years but my example)1970 to 1979 then 1980 to 1986.
My car is a 85 giulietta but the engine came out of a 79 alfetta.
once i find out the bearing size i can then order some.

you can buy all your engine bearings and more from turin imports here in adelaide.
yes true but there is alot of stuff i want to buy that i dont think they will sell plus its way cheaper over the internet.
