A little while back some discussion took place regarding the fitting of regular camshafts into a twin spark head which is not possible in a normal sense. Off course nothing is impossible in the crazy sense.
The photos are trying to show the misalignment of not only the bearing points but more importantly the respective position of the cam lobes relative to the centre of the cam buckets. If say an Alfetta cam was installed, the cam lobes would be pushing the cam buckets way off centre on some cylinders and less so on others. This alone would cause serious head failures if you could make it work at all so that the lobe would not be fouling the head itself and cease to turn.
I didn't have the photos before but I am presently working on a twin spark engine and so I though I would take the opportunity to clarify the issue for those that have any interest in this topic.
