No good for the usual 'twin spark conversion'.  You need one from a 75.  That one is from a modern spider.

does not like like the twin spark in my 156 so i thought was from 75 looked like one anyway, surely this would work to

Err, considering how extensively you work on your own car, and freely give out advise to others on the same, surely you've at some stage removed that big silver plastic cover over the top of your engine?  Underneath which your engine will look just like that one, except yours will still have the coilpacks on it...

the engine maybe useful to someone with a blown 16v, but yes, that is a fiat iron block 16v. it's got timing belt covers so that's a fairly obvious giveaway...

the old alfa nord was internal driving chain, on an alloy block, this is essential for a 105/115 conversion as they essentially shared the same block, so you could modify the crank and swap the heads and manifolds etc..

i try not to do any work on the 156, nothing engine wise has gone wrong with it so i have not needed to remove the cover, well it might be of use for someone anyway somewhere
