hope someone has come accross this issue...
When in Reverse the call wants to stall and the battery light come on very dimly.....this only happens in reverse.
anyone come across this issue? and know the cause?

Sounds like a short to earth through your reverse light switch, crawl under and take a look or take it to the auto elec
My ignition light dims when I select reverse has done for 10 yrs so I think the stalling could be unrelated. A short in a live wire will usually blow any related fuses, there are two wires on the reversing light switch I will be corrected if I am wrong but I think both are "earth" when you select reverse it closes the circuit and the light comes on so even if one is loose and touches against a metal surface it should not short :)
I'm thinking maybe the clutch isn't operating correctly
