Title: heater for 156

hey all
just wondering if anyone has had a prob with there heater in their 156 not working or know of any 1 that has had this and how did they fix it. can i bypass the controls in the centre dash and use some thing behind it to turn heater on and off, i know that i prob would not have any control of the temp then

should be simple to jerry rig a switch if you have the wiring diagram
if you can send me the wiring diagram and close up of the control unit diagram, I can tell you what you need to cut/splice to put a simple on/off switch onto .
you can easily hide a toggle switch or a simple button under the dash
