Hi all
My Alfetta is starting to have bubble spots and flaking at some "common" places and was thinking of repainting the car with different colour...
I know each to their own as far as colours are concern... but need yr opinion so that can help me narrow down on some suitable colours?
Here is my car now (looks a lot nicer in the pics than in real life :P )

Opinions please? Ferrari Red? Light Silver? Black? Cream/beige? ???
Cheers
Syed
The colour it is looks pretty good - probably hard to improve on that. Plus if you keep the colour on it you will save a lot of extra labour/cost by not having to do inside the engine bay, boot and door jams.
Have fun whichever way you go - all the best with it.
Nipple pink.

:P
I agree with Storm, same color just a little lower would look good.
Nigel suggestion of Nipple Pink would be an interesting look. :D
mmmm.... i was thinking a little whiter!
i know the white david is talking about. looks nice next to black.
white with black wheels and dark tint.
white works for me !!!! :P
mmmmm.......uh huh!
i think black with yellow strips my 90 needs a little cousin, other wise a metalic maroon this colour is unreal and it was a factory colour with the 90's not sure on other eailer models
The current colour looks very nice, you could leave it
I agree with David white 75 Twinsparks look great might look good, or the white paul suggested was umm nice too, not gonna say anything about
size as I know what happened last time ;D
A mate of mine restored his Alfetta in Dutch Blue looked fantastic, but im not biased

My giulietta is a metalic Brown ( yes i know brown :-[ :'( ) but when you give it a nice polish jeez it looked nice.
Hey ,Paul Edwards, no text on your post . I'm assuming that swim wear colour was in "Hooter White"
Maybe this will help you guys in deciding what colour for my Fetta :P
This is an interior shot of the donor car that I bought the interior (seats and doorcards) from.

Nipple pink is only for suckers.
Current colour looks fine. As others have written changing colour would also involve changing interior and engine bay colour as well.
What about Anthracite as it is just a little darker than your current colour and you might get away without having to paint the door jambs and engine bay to match.
Colour aside I would definitely consider lowering the car a little and fit 15" wheels
Many (MANY) moons ago there was a metallic dark green Alfetta Sportivo (spelling???) featured in Fast Fours and Rotaries and I thought that was a perfect colour for it. Holden SV5000 colour from memory.
Hey Paul E. That black brick looks the goods !! Panels have to be perfect for dark colours though..

I think you'll find that colour is Le Mans Blue.
I used to think that RED was the only colour for Alfa's but now!-Black looks DAM good if you set it off with silver and shiny bits but you have to dust(clean) it every time you look at it!.
AR 501
On a slight tangent to the topic - where do you find the paint colour code on a GTV6, and where is the best place to source the paint from?
