Hi there all
Following the success of this year's centenary celebration with the inaugural "Alfa Island" in March, we thought a biennial event would be of interest.
Just canvassing nation wide interest for a 2 two day Alfa only racing and regularity event, Alfa Island II in March 2012 at where else but Phillip Island Raceway.
So register your interest here and with me on neil_choi@optusnet.com.au

Basically we need around 150 entrants for the 2 day events to make it happen as a worthwhile effort.
It is Phillip Island circuit, well worth the effort for all, including the interstaters.
Various formats can be discussed.
Historic Group S/N
Trofeo Suds, Sprints, 33's
Under/Over 2L
Sports Sedans
Improved Production
All is possible, given numbers and category limitations, such as too many categories and too few cars in each is not worthwhile.
DO IT!
was an awsome weekend last time
I want to play this time!!!!
Absolutely, count me in.
Agree with Brad, don't want to miss out this time. I thought i would have to wait another 100 years for the opportunity, but Neil to the rescue.
Count me in also.
count me in Neil !!
Sounds great, had a ball this year. I'll be there.

I thought you had gone truly insane for a minute there, but then I realised you were talking about 2012, not next year. So you've only gone mildly insane.
But hey, if you're silly enough to volunteer to organise it, I'll be there for sure!
If there is a class for a quad cam GTV6 Rally car, I'll be there too.
It's a yes for me and I have forwarded the Email to SA Sprinters today.
You know you don't have to ask me, I'm already on my way.
Alfa Island 2010...Unfreakenbelievable. Alfa Island II...Bring it on!!
Neil, I'm trying to be serious now, How about a race (Regularity of course) of Alfasuds, Sprints and 33's, A TROFEO REVIVAL. ;D
Anxiously waiting
Musco
I'll be there - March 2012 is now blocked out in my diary.
im in and ill have another 2 spots as well
I doubt you'll get too many negative replies on this one Neil, AlfaIsland was the BEST. WEEKEND. EVER. so AlfaIsland II will be just as popular. If you can get the weekend before PI Historics again, maybe you'll get the P3 back again too! It could become a regular thing so that Alfa entrants coming from overseas for PI Historics will also come to AlfaIsland as a matter of course.
And yes, I would like to see another AlfaIsland.
Im there, been on the sidelines far too long
Farkin ofe Pep...
are ya talkin 105? or can a sell ya a cheap Sprint?

Only if mid-engined ones are allowed.

Hopefully jeepers if its not ready to rock n roll by then................so how much for the sprint?
Ohhh yeah man! Only one rule, kind of like the 40 ft rule, as long as it looks like a Sprint, its in.
So have you got a spare V6 Sheldon, cause I have a spare shell doing nothing...
I'd like to see a Giocattolo come out and play, but even more I'd like to see a mid engine Sprint with an ALFA 2.5 V6 with an appropriate gearbox hanging out the back. Too cool.
So are you saying you want to build one?
Pep, Got you thinking have I. Don't really want to distract you from the 105. It would be great to see it do a few laps. But, I do want to see more Sprints on the track, it gets lonely out there.
P.S: GO TROFEO SERIES.

I will next week. Was going to make a sculpture of it, but a Sprint 6C would be even nicer to look at.... And how hard can it be?
Yeah baby!
Can you talk to the weather people and make it a bit dryer than it was on Saturday please :)
Hi Neil,
I have had replies in the affirmative so far from Ralph Ortiz,Andrew Ebel,Sam Schmidt and Justin Wanzek.
Thats 4 more, will keep posting as they reply.
Cheers
Andrew

ED

Hi Neil,
Please add me and my 33 to your list.
meizhak mouchemore
I'm in. With bells.
Absolutely - Alfa Island this year was brilliant ;D
Don't think I am doing anything that weekend, so count me in. You will need to recruit some new marshalls and volunteers over the next 18 mths because this year's ones all seem to want to be on the other side of the fence. What does that tell you about how good it was? ;D
Hi Neil,
I have had some more replies in the affirmative from,Chris Chrouch,Julie Crafter,Laurie Ardill,Geoff Heaven and Malcolm Ebel.
Thats 5 more!.
Cheers
Andrew
i'm in. cant wait
If you missed the first one you would need a bloody good excuse or a medical certificate to miss it again . Count me in.
I'd be in on that!

Can't recall why I missed this years event but I won't miss this one. Count me in Neil on the officials side. I can't keep up with these young bloods these days so may as well do something useful!
