Title: Help with GTV6 electrical
Post by: AgeG on July 01, 2010, 11:41:31 AM
Guys,

I have noticed on a few threads that people have added relays to various parts of the GTV6 electricals to improve various electrical functions.

As a novice what can I do to improve things like interior/dash lighting and radio power?

I have read through the posts about the headlights and at the moment I am a little apprehensive about doing this myself, so will wait a while to do this.

Another question is has anyone taken apart the indicator/headlight combination to attempt to fix a switch? My high beams dont stay on when i push the stalk down into the permenant position, but come on when i flick the stalk.

Appreciated the commments.

Cheers,

Adrian

They are getting a little difficult to find now, I might have a crack at fixing this one, hopefully something is loose, i have a broken one i could use for parts. My only worry is breaking the casing when drilling the rivets.

Any thoughts on what relays should be used? What gauge wire should be used too?  ???
