Title: Standard Offset for GTV6 15 x 7
Post by: Mile Jurcic on June 30, 2010, 05:39:26 PM
Hi Guys,

Its probably on here somewhere, but can someone confirm the standard offset for GTV6 15 x 7 rims.

I'm looking at getting some new BBS style rims and want to make sure i get the offset right as they are 17 x 7.5.

Thanks
Mile.

Hi,
I have been looking into the same thing - asking OZ Racing wheels Aust distributor which wheels in their range would suit and they asked for the same info, which I found here:

http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/alfetta-gtv6-1975-1986/43298-running-16x8-wheels-alfetta-gtv.html

As far as I can find the standard size is 15x6 not 15x7 and the offset is 45mm. Going to the size you are looking at, similar to what I'm after, a 30-40mm offset should be ok. Not sure if I should go 16" or 17" - won't go any wider than 215/40R17 but more likely 205/50R16...

Now the job is to find somethjing that I like, will fit and I can afford... :P
Cheers
Marty

Marty is correct with the factory wheel specs.

What offset do the 7.5s come in, Mile?

Thanks guys.

I spoke to the guys selling these wheels and you can get them in whatever offset and pcd you wish.

just want to make sure that they fit under. They also have 15 x 7.
