Anyone see the doco on SBS last night about the Mafia in Sicily in the 80's?
Tragic story, but some great archival footage of Alfas
Saw the following as police cars:-
-Alfettas
-Giuliettas One of which had four policemen in it plus a mafia boss in the middle of the back seat. Suprised they got the thing moving.
-75's
-90's. Five of them caning it out of their compound, all of them fishtailing out onto the main road. Beautiful.
-33s
Plus a couple of Supers in the background, and lots of Suds everywhere, one of which had been used as a car bomb. (What can Scott come up with as a response to that comment? C'mon Scott, don't go for the obvious one.)
No, I didnt, but if anyone taped it I would be interested in seeing it.
Here it is in 9 parts on youtube:

(watch out though they often take copyright stuff like this down pretty quick).
nice one.
the bit with the 90's is probably about 25 mins in for those interested.
Which will no doubt be heaps of people.................(Sound of tumbleweeds and crickets.........)
Remember most of the Alfa cop cars where built by Zagarto and had amore plateing in them, That is why the mob had to blow up a block to kill the passagers. Did you notice the every time you saw one move off it was wheels spining and over steer, Just as well there not Vic Pol or all there cars would be imponded and sold off under anit Hoon laws!
I think Vic Pol don't consider you a Hoon unless you have those attractive flouro blue lights strategically placed around your car. ;)
Don't Vic Pol have both types of Hoon lights Red and Blue?
