Title: transport recommendation
Post by: Dna Dave on June 29, 2010, 04:16:37 PM
Hi,

I am looking at transporting a non runner from Brisbane to Sydney (Alfa of course), and Ceva said that they only deal with account holders.

Is there anyone that can be recommended (Alfa friendly).

Thanks in advance.

Dave

I transported an accident damaged 105 from Brisvegas to Melbourne using Door to Door Car Carrying, based in Brissy.

Ph. 1800 366 723 or Google them!

So Phil, are all the goodies off that car going onto your project coupe? Or do you know a master with the car rack? :P

Hi Dave

All the major companies are account only and need 10 day+ lead time. I used Nationwide Towing (ph 134869) to move the cars I needed for Top Gear Live. Very flexible, got all the gear to move non-runners and price competitive.

Got to know them pretty well- let me know if you want me to get them to quote.

PS haven't put the LSD in yet, but just bought a 3lt, so it wont be far away

Regards

DJ

Hey Derek, well that was the plan, but yes I know a master with a rack (of the car variety) who said I should strip it and we will put the two shells side by side and decide which one to do.....so who knows what will happen!  The 'Master' is Paul Rankin, he is a genius.
