Title: Windscreen Scratch to Fix
Post by: freddie on June 21, 2010, 10:02:03 AM
My 1975 Spider has a pretty sever scratch in the windscreen caused by the wiper.

Can these be polished out successfully or should I get a new screen.

I'm in Sydney so is O'Briens the only option or do other people do them. Any ideas what I'd be up for either way ?.

I'd suggest that you check with AROCA NSW members or guys like Rob Panetta at Manning Motors or Tony McKone out west

Windscreens are surprisingly cheap. Just bought one this week from protector glass (07 3287 1688) for a coupe for $231. They sell them with and without the tinting band at the top. $30 delivery in Sydney or you can pick it up from Arndell Park.
