Hi all

Anyone know what brake fluid I should use for a 1980 105 Series Spider?

Cheers!!

I am sure any branded type Dot3, Dot 4 and Dot 5.1 spec grade brake fluids available from most  Autoshops should be ok, BUT NOT the Dot 5 types though as are silicon and will ruin seals.

I use the higher grade Dot 5.1 in both my cars and it is fine. The Penrite 600 is Dot 5.1 is only $20, Motul 600 is fine but much dearer though. These are both higher boiling temp fluids so reduce brake fade/boiling.

Most Brands Dot3 stuff only costs around $10 and is fine for most road cars though.
