:D :D :D

I have a set of 15x7, but don't really want to sell them, as I only just got them, and was looking for 15x7 for a while myself.  However, as they say, everything's for the sale at the right price.  PM me with an offer if you're really keen, but I'm warning you now, for the price I'll take you could probably get a set of Ronals.  And I'm in Melbourne.  Pic attached anyway, they're TSWs, seem pretty light, I've never actually run with them, only got them a couple of months ago.

I've got no fucken idea, you never asked that in your original post so I didn't mention it; don't give me a double 'huh?' emoticon unless you mean it.

The wheels still have tires on them, and are off the car, and I do own a ruler.  Tell me exactly how to measure the offset, and I can go and do that if you want.

I didn't press the "huh" (at least i didn't mean to), only the ? a couple of times, it must come up when you do that, anyway if you can get me the measurement from the back of the rim to the back mounting face i can work it out (close enough anyway) from there, that would be great.

Or it may have a stamp somewhere ET ?,

Thanks
Dave

ET30.  I also measured before I saw that, looked to be 130mm from back mounting face to back of rim (but not counting lip).  Hope that helps.  What does ET stand for?

Thanks, i will measure to see how that works out, and let you know (will PM you), I don't know what ET stands for but it is referring to the offset, the proper way to measure is from the mounting face to the centre of the rim (across the width), but with a 7" rim the offset is roughly 100mm less than the back lip without a tyre on it.

Thanks
Dave

ET" is German for "Einpresstiefe" = "insertion depth."

Gotta Love Google

You should try and track down a set of these momo star alloys. I have a complete set but not willing to sell. sorry! They are 15*7 inch and would really suit the gtv6.

Those Momo's are nice.

Has anyone had any experience with Superlite Wheels?

Hi I may have something - they look like Ronals are 15" GTV6 stud pattern but will have to check width and offset for you - will do it tomorrow, and they are for sale.

Dave,

I bought a set of five Performance Superlites back in 2007 for the 75 I was building up at the time. I went for them because you could order 15 x 7 in 4/5 x 98 pcd in two different offsets and they could turn the order around in 6 weeks for $200/wheel. They look sensational on the twinnie shod in 205/50-15 R tyres. The only drawback is they are bloody heavy but a good lightweight wheel is going to cost twice the money.

Cheers,

Brent

Any luck yet Dave?

Martin, I can't believe no-one has snapped those up considering how cheap they are and how hard this size is to get.

Came across these guys, who are going to do a replica BBS (the best looking wheel for any 80s car IMHO) in a 15x7, apparently drilled to any PCD/offset required.  http://cgi.ebay.com.au/BB5-R5-BBS-RS-STYLE-17-INCH-WHEELS-VW-ALFA-PEUGEOT-FIAT-/270598383024?cmd=ViewItem&pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f00eba5b0

Sheldon,

Thanks, i saw those the other night, they look like what i need, the offset is what i'm looking for (around ET20), he is getting the 15" x 7" in sometime in July, if i still haven't found a set i will get a set of him.

I agree with your comment regarding Martins wheels, if they had a more suitable offset i would have bought them.

Thanks
Dave

I know they aren't 15" but what about these , i think they would look good on a GTV6

Nice, but they have to be 15" x 7" to run in the VRA, I already have a couple of sets of 17" x 7".

Thanks anyway

Dave

Hi Dave,

Sorry for the delay in reply but I don't get on the forums that often & work has been full on.

Well I finally checked the wheels I'm selling.
Unfortunately they are 15" x 8" which I assume is no good for you as you were asking for x 7"
I wrote down the offset a few weeks ago I can't find it at moment.
If per chance your still interested i will look at the wheels again.
I will make an effort to get on the forum more frequently next few weeks.

But always contactable on my email alex.c@ozemail.com.au
I can email photos if your interested.

Cheers
Alex
