Title: Wanted to Buy - Alfa 1750GTV Coupe
Post by: Michael F on May 28, 2010, 09:36:52 PM
I'm looking for a nice 1750GTV Coupe to buy. I intend restoring it, so am not too fussed about the mechanical condition. I'm mostly interested in as good a body as possible, and the car should be complete. Although given the difficulty of finding these cars, I would consider one that doesn't quite match my expectation.

I've tried the usual places like carsales.com, etc, but no luck so far. I thought this forum might be a good place to advertise my interest.

Michael,

Not sure of your budget? Series 1 or 2? Colour preference?

If you don't mind an unusual colour.... its all complete ....

Saw the one on Trading Post. Looks interesting. I even don't mind the colour :-). Do you know of a good mechanic in Adelaide who would have a look at the car for me?

Michael, Peter Axford at Eurosports - http://www.eurosportautomotive.biz/ did a great job of checking my Alfetta for me 5 years ago.  I'd recommend him highly.

Thanks for the contact at Euro Sport Automotive, Bob. Peter was very helpfull.

As it turned out the body is not in as good a condition as I would like, so I'm passing on the beige GTV.

Michael.
