Hi all,
For sale: Alfa 90, 1987, red, proabbly best in Tasmania, but dull paint (cuts ok), otherwise a real hoot.
konis removed, strong v6, very nice sounding twin exhaust system, tow bar, five star 15inch alloys (might even have a spare I think...would have to check). recently replaced donut, drivetrain smooth, no oil leaks as far as I can see. Heads done not so long ago (2-3yrs?). Box is good, 2nd gear is notchy when cold but settles down to a nice shift when warm.
NO RUST! Shell is nice and straight, doors click closed interior is complete with the analog dash (that works).
Basically the ca r is registered (just about to run out though) and roadworthy. The only reason for selling is I purchased a gtv6, and now have 4 Alfas, which is one to many for the shed!...Also, I need to buy a twin plate tilton clutch for my Alfetta GT, rather sad to convert this fun car into one clutch but there you have it...a bargain :-) Would make a fantastic sprint car, it's a hoot to drive.
Will dig out some pics as I have them at home.
what is not good:
Power steering pump is tired/needs oil? Have not checked it recently.
Price- $1200 no rego. May part out, but it is a good car, so would be sad to have to do that. Car would really suit someone who just wants a very fun v6 driver, a tow vehicle for the track car?....

Pics? and would you seperate the wheels?
I thought I have pics, but have misplaced them. I can arrange pics on the weekend, a fellow looks ot be buying the car this weekend though, so if you are serious, you'd better call soon! Best Alfa 90 in Tas. Yes, I would seperate wheels. I also have a set of Ronals. The car is a solid, nice car.
more pics
Nice briefcase
that would have to be the least expensive way to get a load of the V6 sound ;D
would that have a 4.1 diff being a late model, Mike, or can you do 100 clicks in 2nd gear? :D
Good luck with it mate.

yeah probably does have the 4.1 diff as theres no way it'll do 100clicks in second! It's pretty nice and torquey. The suit case is sexy no?! :-)
hi mike i may be interested in the 90 im also selling a 90 at the moment and i have a guy looking at it tomorrow if he buys for the price im after i think i will buy urs ill let you know, also what $$$ are u after fot the gtv6 pm me ur price
Anyone interested in this car should call me as requested.
Just bumping this up, car is still for sale. I need to clear out some space for new projects and haev decided the 90 (as much fun as it is) needs to go. I would like 1200. It's just out of reg (can be rereg in Tas). has a nice twin system exhaust that is music to my ears, working elecs, breif case :-), mechanical dash, Alfa tow ball, a nice v6 of course, and has been a good car to me.
Alternator decided to go on the blink, probably just the reg, have nnot checked. Other than that, power steering pump has a leak, I top it up and it's happy. I really want someone who needs a reliable daily to grab this rather than me wreck it. There's heaps of parts I can use on the car, and it makes sense for me to reck it, but it does not seem right. So please, someone pick it up and enjoy it.
Mike - have left a message on your mobile.
Woops, just noticed the number I had for calling has chnaged since then to my wifes number. My new number is 0439003523. Aggie, just buzz that number and I'll pick up. Sorry for confusion.
SOLD pending payment

Surely you've enough already??
NEVER no such thing as to many alfas
Folks - unfortunately my best intentions hit a roadblock last night so I've had to pull out of this deal. So Mike's 90 is still available..... :-[
Oh, well, bump it back up. Denhe, sold you car? It seems I have one sitting here ready for you again!
ive still got one spare here now,
Don't sit on the fence - someone buy this car.
I bought an identical one a few years back (red, faded paint, powersteering problem), and never enjoyed $1500 so much. 90's are great things, and btw, it will be just fine to drive without fixing the steering.

Thanks Dean, it's true, one of tTHE most under valued cars based on $/smile on dial :-). The sound is intoxicating, it's like owning a usefull GTV6, in fact i found the GTV6 was a prick around town, steering very heavby, where as the 90 you turn with your little finger, but it still has nice feel. I'm talkign myself into keeping it again....just need more space...
still for sale guys.
