Post by: Fast Eddie on March 13, 2007, 09:51:27 AM
I am on the look out for a set of 2 litre #10548 cams, a set of GTV6 brakes - front & rear and a set of heavy duty torsion bars.

If anyone can help, please let me know

Thanks

I may have a set of 10548 cams for you. I'm just about to do a rebuild on a stock 2litre, and will probably opt for a warmer cam, so would be able to part with the originals. Next time I'm at the mechanic's workshop I'll ask him about the condition of the 10548s.

You may also want to check with Hugh Harrison, he will be rebuilding a 2l soon that had 45 webber's and warm cams (not sure of the part no's however) and will be going back to stock (the engine from my old 105).

Edward,

Lucky I have a thing for remembering wierd combinations of numbers for some stupid reason. There is a pair of 10548 cams you're after currently on eBay, item number is 300089596056. Auction ends 19/3.

Good luck.

I've got the cams at home now. They're in good shape, no damage or wear. Let me know if you're interested.

Regards

Damien

Hi
I have several parts that may be of interest to you - a half race suspension kit, including sway bars, springs, torsion bars and shock absorbers. They made the care quite stiff and the handling was superb.
Unfortunately, my current location has pot-holed dirt roads and the lowered stiff stuff is no longer useful to me.
I have built a hybrid based on alfetta parts, but I need a much lower diff.
I want something around the 3.5:1 area - I understand there are 3.42 and 3.55 ratio diffs for the transaxles. I have an 18% speedo error AND
a car that runs too many revs due to smaller tyres and lower weight. The card has been registered, but the RTA insists I must have power brakes,
so regretfully I am installing them. I didn't build the car for people with weak legs....
Swap anyone ?

i dont currently have the car to fit these to as i cleared my garage before moving back to Perth, but i am interested as i intend to acquire another GTV 2.0 ASAP.
I would appreciate a pic or 2 and an idea of price.  You might prefer to email me - ehellste@bigpond.net.au or PM me.

cheers
