Title: Got rust?
Post by: Mat Francis on May 17, 2010, 09:52:42 PM
Here's a few photos that dad dug up tonight. Had quite a giggle.

The motor that is in my car, (and has taken a hiding for the last 4 odd years), came out of this one!

I hope that motorbike is Japanese, otherwise it's very risky parking it so close to that.

That's amazing, I've never seen rusty glass before.

Yeah, well until about a week ago it was grouse. Making a not very nice noise which i fear may be piston slap? No panic though, i have a solution in the works.

Does the solution involve a wreckers and a crusher, although they might be afraid the crusher might start rusting if they put it in there. :D

If it was bearing noise you could run gearbox oil in it, should make it quiet for another week  ;)

Whats your solution for the slapper piston chief ?

That one went to the wreckers a loooooong time ago.

Solution is going to involve that 75 that's sitting in my garage unregistered  ;D
