If you want to fit a good big radiator without paying big bucks go and get a JD Camira one,if you can fit it in it has brass tanks,good air flow and large area.This is what I use in my Race Cars and used one with a bigger core for my Supercharged engine,it will fit in Alfetta GTV noses if you lose the bonnet spring,a little more work for the earlier Alfettas but not dramatic.

Good tip mate. I will follow that up. I know these suckers are getting scarce and I had intended to fit a new core if the tanks were sound. The car I am building up is an early GTV and it has an inclined radiator bottom mount presumably to aid air bleeding. Can't say that this is absolutely necessary as it was dropped for later models. I have already scoured the local wrecking yards with a tape measure but only thing I could come up with was an early Mitsubishi Colt rad. but it seemed a bit too boderline. So many plastic tanks around these days, it's hard to do conversions on them.

Hadn't thought of the 33. Disappointed that the 75 TS I just wrecked with a good rad doesn't fit.
However, I'm sorted. Just got home from the wreckers. Scored a Gemini radiator including fan for $70. It's in almost new condition with a drain plug as well. Also fitted with a thermo switch- bonus. Yet to see how the hoses will work and the fitting will take a little customisation also. Brass tanks and copper tubing.
Still need the GTV6 stuff.

The car is an early Alfetta GTV. I acquired just the shell with a cage in it. I am building it from the ground up so to speak installing mostly 75 TS components. I plan to have a mildly tuned engine in it but work the suspension and brakes to race specs. It's mission is to be a trainer for a while.
The subtle thing about the radiator is the shroud. It is now fully sealed around its periphery so when the fan draws, there are no short circuits. The air must come through the fins and so that's a good thing. I agree the bottom outlet looks tight but in practice, it's not going to be an issue. The filler neck is unusual and you would think it will hit the bonnet but it doesn't. This filler has the standard overflow discharge outlet but it also has a return inlet from the water pump by-pass which is a handy little thing.
There are pros and cons with a push fan. If the radiator is anywhere near marginal, this can be less than ideal. The area occupied by the fan blades act to reduce air flow but if engine bay room is crirical, sometimes you have no choice.
