Title: Fibre glass manufacturer - recommendation?
Post by: Evan Bottcher on April 08, 2010, 11:30:20 PM
Hi folks,

I'm looking to make some copies of a bodykit that I have access to.  Can anyone recommend someone in Melbourne area to do the work?

thanks,
Evan.

Hi Evan,
I have made a few Fibreglass, Kevlar, and Carbon Fibre Composite parts in my time through my business, including: Road, Club, Sports Sedan, AUSCAR, NASCAR, Rally, Group A, and V8 Supercar individuale and Race Teams.
Use to run the business from Bayswater, but closed it a few years ago due to Factory fire next door, and now making to order parts from home.
What parts are you after as I may have moulds for some Alfas already, or be able to refer you to someone who might, or other.
Best Regards, Peter.

There's the guy I use for the Kevlar stuff.  He can do fibreglass as well.

You do know that making the mould from another fibreglass part will pretty much destroy the original?

I'll be getting some more undertrays done, so I'll be in contact later this week, call me if you want me to talk to him.

Cheers
Stuart
