I've got s-drives on my gtv, brilliant brilliant tyre. this discussion was just had not long ago amongst us 116 owners

I have Pirelli P6000 (195X14x55) on my 14x6 BWA Alfa alloy rims. These tyres have been superb, though from memory were not cheap. I have Pirelli P600s on my Fiat AC 124 and ditto re being superb and I think these also were a little costly. Both have lasted really well.
I have just fitted a set of Pirelli P7s on my 156 Sportwagon, I can't really comment on how good or not these are, as they were only fitted yesterday. However, they certainly feel excellent in comparison to the old Michelin Pilots that were on the car beforehand, but that could be simply as the old tyres were worn out. I need some rain to be able to properly compare. The price for the P7s fitted balanced etc worked out at about $900 from Bob Jane. They were listed as being on special at approx $170 per tyre.
I suspect I must be a driving Pirelli advertisement given the above !! ;D ;D Dave
Bruno (at Maranello-Pursang) organised a set of nice Bridgestones for me 18 months ago, I find they suit the 105 pretty well.
Not sure if the are still available, but a quick conversation with him would confirm that, or he could give you an alternative suggestion.
Thanks guys for all the suggestions and links.
Going to go for C-Drives as can get for $140 a pop so shall report how goes - cheers JJ.
go for it, you should be pretty happy, I'm a massive massive Yokohama fan, ever since the days of the a509s
