Title: Wanted: early Giulia Ti steering wheel.
Post by: alfa75gta on March 06, 2010, 08:03:44 PM
I'm looking for an early Giulia Ti steering wheel - the two spoke type with the horn ring.

I've posted a picture of an example. Perhaps someone has one hidden away somewhere? They are terribly ugly, but I want one for my Ti to make it original...

Please PM me here or email me: nrw105@bigpond.net.au if anyone has one.

Nigel

Hello Nigel.

I think you being a bit harsh. I rather think this design is chic and typifies the fashion of the times. I particularly like the way the designer has adapted the cross and serpent into the centre.

Now the 1300Ti original plastic steering wheel... now thats somewhat less stylish, lets say.

Henry.

Henry, don't be so serious. I wasn't meaning to be either.  I actually love the look of the wheel too - that's why i want one.  By calling it "ugly" i'm just acknowledging general opinion of this design.  After all, most of the population think the whole design of the Giulia is ugly! I personally view it as one of the coolest and most stylish sedans of all time...

Thanks for parting with it Rob. I'm sure it'll look perfectly at home in my Giulia too!

Bring on Alfa Island....!!
