Hey guys i found this small article on a new design , I do not know much about it but it looks pretty sleek :P

Yep. Keep a look out as there are 3 commissioned designs for the Geneva Motor Show. Another one is the Stile Bertone Pandion concept and finally a Italdesign Giugiaro concept car.

Intererstingly they use Maserati chassis used with the 8c spider.

I think it's pretty sweet.
MUST. BUILD. THIS.
Well over the years we have had talk about the 166 GTA, 169, the 159 GTA, a 8C GTA, recently a MiTo GTA (ok now a QV) and Alfa Romeo themselves had confirmed to the Australian dealers that there would be no new models this year.
So we now believe that the Giulietta will be released later this year with MiTo multi air and the new auto. Also a MiTo QV sometime.
Finally some imaginative individual with contacts has produced the following:

So we have a 4 cyliner with a dedion rear end from a Maserati and it's lightweight !
The Alfa Romeo Boffins have woken up at last!
This is great news RWD and RHD hopefully next .
The stuff dreams are made of. ;D ;D ;D
John
There was supposed to be three concepts but all I've seen is two. Am I blind? The spider and the pandion is all I've seen?
recently a MiTo GTA (ok now a QV)

sorry are you saying that the mi-to gta is now going to be called the QV and that it has not been release,
its just that there is a mi-to gta at lance dixons now and its badge GTA
im not having a go just not sure what ur trying to say
Got a photo of the GTA?
Done a quick search myself ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfa_Romeo_MiTo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfa_Romeo_MiTo)
GTA still cancelled, but the QV exists as a milder version of the GTA.
But, GTA rumors persist ... http://www.themotorreport.com.au/37742/2010-alfa-romeo-mito-gta-cancelled-report (http://www.themotorreport.com.au/37742/2010-alfa-romeo-mito-gta-cancelled-report)
My fingers are still crossed.
Point taken Dehne and same for Maurizio.
So the GTA could be back on. Alfa and Ateco have gone to some effort to bring one out so it must be for a valid reason, not just a prototype. As a vehilce is on display here, then its a pretty good indication that one will be comming out.
If you look at image, branding etc, perhaps the GTA badge has a bigger impact on the market than QV, but thats another story too.
I would assume that at least one of the 3 design prototypes would be taken on board by Alfa.
Back to the 4C, it just seems a bit of a suprise as this is an entirely new direction. The market is very competitive and the market will not tolerate a product that requires frequent servicing & part replacement i.e. balancing the torque tube, multiple universal joints etc. I recon that picture has been around before and that car is just a concept.
Cheers.
Hey Dehne - the Mito GTA is definitely not in production, so whatever it was at Lance Dixon's it's not a Mito GTA. One was built and released as a concept but as Brad indicates a decision on actually making it has been on-again/off-again. Even if it ever gets the go-ahead it will be a long time before it hits the streets. The QV is the current sporting flagship of the Mito range, it's in production and on sale overseas hasn't hit Australia yet to my knowledge. Check out the EVO magazine website for a road-test.
I'd say someone at LD just found a creative use for a spare GTA badge ...
Rory
Firstly there is no connection between the MiTo GTA and QV except they are both MiTo. The former was to have 230hp and the later 170hp. And no the GTA is not production.
Also from what I understand Lance Dixon has embarked on a strategy of perception is reality...they now badge Brera's as Ti...when they aren't. So whatever it is you saw could be just another mito sport "rebadge". I'm sure they could provide you with an Alfa 90 GTA (god know why). ;D
As the MiTo QV'a are in the country for promotional purposes, I am sure club members will see them on the weekend or at the Lygon Street display.
