Title: 75/90/164 Register Captain Required.
Post by: John Hanslow on February 04, 2010, 01:12:15 PM
Is there a Club Member who has one of these cars and intersted in promoting this segment of our favoured marque?

We need some one who is an active member on the forum, attends most club nights and a few activities relating to your vehicle, i.e. EMR's &  also how about promoting a 160 Series Workshop at your local Alfa Specialist or similar.

We really need a bit of help here and we are looking at all options this year to get the registers up and running to make this a great club.

Thats a great start and much appreciated.    I will have to think anout the logistics of that.

Well club nights are important & supporting the Register & Alfisti on the forum is a bonus,  the only real thing we have to do is get a 'De Dion Night'  happening at a sponsors location for a Friday night.  That will cover Twin Sparks & V6.

Someone else may have ideas about that ?

I might be a bit young and inexperienced with the V6's, but i reckon i could happily meet all other criteria. If you don't get any better offers, let me know, and i will put my hand up.

Crickey!

That's great.  Thanks Matt & Dehne.  Now we just need someone with a passion for 164 - the cars with the galvanised bodies ...

While there is only one 'rep', things just work better with some support to cover all bases. In this years Spettacolo I will plan on having a 100 year display - with as many different models as we can get.  Have not had many 90's in the Wash'n Shines.

Hopefully the cars will now start to be a bit of a classic and demand will hold and the good ones will be maintained.  Still a few 75's around and I recon some people will pay more for a well maintained car.

Thanks again guys.

Hey guys, need a place for a Trans-axle Workshop for a AROCA Vic register function.  We have had workshops at Maranello & Monza Motors already.

Does anyone know an someone who would host a function ?

Preferably a club sponsor in honour of their ongoing support.

Hi there EVO 75, contact Matt direct or refer to the club contacts/ register captains on the home page.  Having a good resource base of contributors always helps.  We are having an EMR on sunday week and in a few months time a workshop for TS & v6 De Dion vehicles.

Actually already taking bookings for that even though it is to be confirmed. Obviously there is a need for knowledge sharing.

Cheers
