Title: Help! Pirelli P600 195 60 15
Post by: alanm on January 24, 2010, 08:02:42 PM
Drive out to Mirboo north today was great except that I stuffed a tyre in a deep pothole.
Anyone in Melbourne happen to have one?? Cash or beer?
The others on my car are only about 40% worn and I hate unmatched tyres.

If no one has one, how about a call to the nearest Alfa Wrecker/Specialist.

Monza, The Italian Job.  I often go to Milanos in Thomastown, not close to Bayside area but once you get on the ring road can enjoy faster progress thu the burbs ...   Thank god for citilink.

Thanks John, I'll give that a go tomorrow.
Damage to the tyre is interesting, its concave across the tread, something must have let go internally.
The result of that on a rear wheel is a thrumming noise and slight vibration over 80kph.

Havn't been able to track down a P600, but I'll keep trying.
While I continue the search I'll fit a P6000 in excellent condition with 80% tread, bought for 99 cents. You gotta love ebay!  ;D
