Title: Are these standard Alfa Wheels?
Post by: rjen on January 13, 2010, 12:05:25 PM
Hi, This is my first post here so pls be gentle.   :)
I picked up a Alfa Spider T-Spark a couple of months back.  It's my first Alfa.  So far I'm impressed.  Great, fun car.
My question is this.  It came with these 17" wheels on.  Are they Alfa wheels (maybe an option when new?) or aftermarket ones?  I've seen another black Spider with identical ones.  One wheel has a crack where the spoke meets the rim so I either need a new one or (if aftermarket) I'll get a set of proper Alfa wheels.

Thanks!

I would say they are after market wheels that have been badged as Alfa. Any decent wheel shop should be able to confirm this from the wheel cast markings and advise if they can replace it for you or indeed it could be repaired if they are no longer in production.

Pretty sure those are aftermarket, haven't seen them before.

Yeah too aggressive for a a genuine ALFA wheel.
