Title: rear axle removal

hi can anyone help me i need to change the rear studs on my axle.do i use a puller to remove the axle shaft ?

Hi, if you take off the wheel rotor, you should be able to tap out the axle with a light hammer, but be sure to turn the axle to hit it evenly all the way around and it should pop out with a bit of leverage to help it come out, i hope this helps, if not you can call on 0413 305 306 and i might be able to explain it better over the phone, cheers

A wheel puller is the easiest method of getting axles/s out. I have one if you get stuck. Call me on 0405 383 431 if the hammer method doesn't work.

Thanks guys! thats heaps of a help .i will try the hammer method tomorrow otherwise a puller will be the go.
