Just read an brief but informative article about the future MiTo with multiair technology.
They said it has loads of torque and in 5th gear car accelerate uphill from 1000rpms.
Basically a fantastic engine with power and economy. No need for a 6 speed gearbox due to the power range.
They could not fault it in the new MiTo with revised steering and bushes to make it a bit more responsive.
