The 75 3.0 litre fits straight in, I have a 3.0 in my GTV6. No need to re set or change anything I used the L- Jetronic from my 2.5 and original ECU and afm.
Transplant simple just bolt in and off you go (20 kW's!) ;D .

John.

Horses for courses. I used a 164 unit and reloomed for the 4.1 Motronic ECU and AFM.

Yes way better way of doing the conversion with the added benefit of being able to upgrade the chip.At the time my mechanic wasn't prepared to attempt this so I took the easy L -Jet route.

Not exactly Dehne.

Are you referring to the mods to the ecu board and black box  ie Alfa heaven, John krishtin, and others which move fuel curves and raise/remove the rev limiter.

Or are you referring to the black box of Greg G's which does a similar job.

John

Guys I have one problem, Leak down test was done on the engine.. and Cylinder 2 was leaking.. but the time was out by a tooth, a tooth and a half. could this be the reason? or bent valve?

thanks

So where did you source this Engine and how much did you pay in the end?

a few different factors there it could be a bent valve but it can also be that the compression ring has let go  or the headgasket is leaking where did you get the motor from did you from was a dealer or private hear it running before you bought the motor.

The motor was from Milanos and i paid 700 for it. also .. the engine was running before it was pulled out of the car but has been sitting their.. and it is actually  a 164 engine which has had the mods and was placed in a 75. which we realised when we got it home.
