Title: Longer wheel studs needed ASAP
Post by: Sheldon McIntosh on October 13, 2009, 10:32:14 PM
Hi all

I'm after some longer wheel studs for my 90, would anyone know of somewhere that would stock these?  I'll be calling all the usual places tomorrow, but if someone knew I could cut down the number of calls I guess.

FYI, the ones I have now are the standard ones, 58mm measured from the base, I'm after ones about 10mm longer if possible, or even 5mm would do the trick.

Cheers
Sheldon

Try McDonald Bros Racing, Thomastown, 9465 0000.

They have long studs 12mmx1.5mm pitch to suit Commodores, same as Alfa, about $11 each

Thanks for that John.

Dehne, nothing major, just put some 156 discs on.  Didn't give me enough threads to be comfortable at first, but we managed to cut down the spacer to give us enough.

Not two days out from the 6 hour he can't......

This thread will be deleted tomorrow, since the problem is well and truly solved, but thanks to everyone for all your help.

Fast Eddie, I thought Perth was two hours behind, not two months?
