Title: AR 501 touch up pen
Post by: Dan H on October 13, 2009, 01:57:37 PM
Hi folks

Starting to get a few stone chips on the duco of the GTV 2000.  Does anyone know where you might be able to get a touch up pen for AR 501?  I don't think that Holts make that colour - is there anything pretty close that people have used?

thanks
Dan

if you call a new alfa dealer they should have some on hand if not go to your local auto paint supplier ie perrows paint and they can make one up for you

Matching a red color could be difficult.  Looking at a row of 156's at Spettacolo and they all were just that bit different.

The issue is that red can fade especially in the sun, that's for all cars so hopefully its not in the middle if the hood.

Cheers.

Paintmobile, corner of High St and Plenty Rd in Northcote, can match any colour and put in an aerosol can for you, just tell them the code.  I don't know if they do a pen, but you could always spray it on something else and use a small brush?
