Title: ALFA GTV6 and 164 TURBO SETUPS

hey guys, i have a GTV6 which i have just purchused and i am looking around at just what people have done to them, Im currently undergoing a conversion to a 164 3litre engine. should go well :) . so im quite interested to see what people have done to alfa 164 engines regarding forced induction :).

would love to see some photos. :)

Not sure if you will find much here mate... it's not really a common thing to do to these engines due to the fact that they are great engines straight from the factory!

Though i have seen a couple going around... one is a 2.5 twin turbo and the other is a 2.5 single turbo.

Yes as was said these great cars are from an era that the most use of turbos was by the Japanese who would use a smaller engine, stick a little turbo and produce about the same power...why? Well it just added to their badge count on the rear :P

Even AutoDelta tend to concentrate on superchargers more than turbos with the V6.

But anyway if you are determined to go balistic here's what you could aim for...contact this guy as he's done a very professional job on this 3.0 V6 Twin turbo!

Also start saving! If you can't do it yourself imagine the cost :o

Plus a GTV6 flies with a standard 3L, you will notice quite a difference from the 2.5.

lol yea we cando it our selves.. my uncle had a 75 twin spark with evo kit, pulling 425 hp. im sure u seen it at the track before. but he sold it awhille back . was fastest alfa ive been in Lol .. just looking at what people have done. cant wait to drop this 3 litre into mine :)
