Title: HOW TO TRACK DOWN A GIULIA SUPER
Post by: giuliasuper on September 22, 2009, 08:43:40 PM
Back in 1978, I purchased my first car - a grey 1600 Giulia Super - sold as a 1972 model. There's always been a bit of question about the age although it was certainly not the earlier models because it had the two gauge pod just below the dashboard.

Anyway I've been trying to track this car down for a few years or so now. I'd love the opportunity to talk to the owner about buying the car. I'm pretty sure the car is still on the road because although the original rego has changed from IHU 896, there is still a car registered in Victoria with the same engine number, listed as a grey alfa romeo. Too much of a coincidence I think. VicRoads support has ceased at the above information.

I've spoken to the coordinator of the Giulia Super register in Victoria. He's always been very helpful but to date alas I've drawn a blank.

I have a sneaking suspicion the car may have been resprayed red some considerable time ago.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Derek
