Post by: bigblock on August 20, 2009, 12:38:48 AM
Hi all
I have a 156 4 cylinder which needs the drivers side cv joint changed, which is located closes to the disk.i have removed the shocker and the aluiminum fork, the disk is still assembled to the drive shaft,if i undo the 6 bolts that hold it in place at the motor can the whole shaft slide out or give me room to slide the new cv joint.what options do i have.

You need to remove the big CV nut to loosen the CV from the hub. You can remove the whole shaft if you wish by removing the small bolts
