Title: Changing bearings in Alfa's?
Post by: Asher1337 on August 18, 2009, 06:51:36 PM
I own a 2000 alfa spider and I have a funny noise coming from my rear wheel, it is faint but seems to be getting louder as time goes on.

I pretty sure it's the bearing.

I have heard it is tricky to change the bearings in alfa's as they are different to normal cars. Why is this??

Should I take it to an alfa specalist or can any reliable mechanic do it?

Cheers

Take it to a specialist.  While it may be just a wheel bearing, I find it is best to develor a rapport with your local Alfa mechanic......for obvious reasons!!
