Title: AR Factory e-mail
Post by: WilliamB1750 on June 12, 2009, 02:35:26 PM
Hello people
I was checking out the 105 series coupe I purchased a little while ago...damn got an exhaust leak....
What was really interesting though was all the red paint I found in all sorts of places, considering the car is green all over including inside the doors etc and it looks like an original colour. But I would like to check that out, as on much closer inspection it has definately been respayed.

I have seen somewhere in these forums the e-mail address for the Alfa Romeo factory in Italy but I can't find it. Would someone be able to help me out with that address please?

With a bit of luck I'll be seeing some of you at the dyno day tomorrow (Vic).

Hi william

Just send an email to archiviostorico@alfaromeo.com, include your VIN of course. I just did it last week, they replied overnight.

And a reply almost as soon as the doors would have opened on monday morning.
I have an Australian delivered car which was originally Alfa Red in colour, build completed on the 27th October 1970.

They responded in a few hours.  Excellent.
"......manufactured on the 8th May 1971 and sold on the 17th May 1971 to Alfa Romeo Australia.
The body colour is amaranth red (AR 509), with wild boar leather tex interiors.  Oh, and its too nice to be racing it. You idiot"

Cheers,
Marco.

Guys,

I also experienced great service from the guys in Italy with regards to my alfa's details and thanked him for his great work and prompt service on behalf of all of us in Australia. Here is his response.

I'm happy to hear this, please take my "Alfa wishes" to all Alfa Romeo friends in Australia.

Marco

??? Could this post or the AR email address be saved as a sticky for any new (or old) budding AR owner that wishes to email them for information of their vehicle? I found it to be the best information about your own car!

Perhaps?

Cheers,
Steve

Pretty amazing they even told me the suburb from which it was sold.  North Melbourne.
