Title: How to take off the dashboard?
Post by: goran on May 21, 2009, 10:29:05 AM
Hi all,

Can somebody tell me straight away where the bolts are located to take off the complete dashboard?

All the clusters ets are removed.

Thank you all.

I did this a while ago when I stripped my 1750 and I've attached a wide angle photo of the firewall after the dash is removed.

There are 4 bolts that have to be removed - they are labelled in the photo.
Numbers 1 & 4 are easy to get to.
Numbers 2 & 3 require removal of the dash vents and rigid ducting just beneath them. Then there is one bolt behind each vent.

Hope this helps,
Chris

There is a hole in the glove box allowing access to no.1 with a socket set.

Cheers,
