IS ANYONE RACING AN 164 IN VICTORIA CLUB EVENTS?, AND HOW DOES A PERSON GET STARTED?

No one adventurous enough to take a 164 on to the track. Club is having a sprint meteing at Sandown on Sunday May 31. Come along and have a look and talk to members.

Hi DavidT,

Give club sprints a try.  Take it easy first time out and ask the more experienced guys lots of questions.
Its great fun.

winton is having a funday in july you can put any car on it and cost $30 this is a good way to see if u want to go further

The link below is to an old article from the club magazine on preparing for sprinting that you may find useful.

As Barry said the next club sprint day is at Sandown on the 31st May.
Normally there would be 30-40 Alfas and a similar number of other cars at the sprint days.
Most of the Alfas tend to be the older rear wheel drive cars, though there are those that are loyal to the Sud/33 family.
