I had just changed the timing belts on an alfa 166, and now the engine does not start will just crank over and over and over. BUT did start the first time for a few seconds ... there is no damage to valves or anything that max i could possible be out is a tooth at the most!. so anyone have any idea why it will no start.. there is fuel in the rail .. spark plugs are sparking... fuel injecters are clicking... any solutions need some fast.
thank you
Turboalfa.
Well, when I heard it I was not convinced but I was told that with doing any engine repairs with a 166, belts or head gasket you had to get an Alfa Specialist or Alfa Dealer with an Alfa Analyser to reset the timing and engine electrics.
Probably have not expressed this correctly but you will know what I mean.
