Title: Rear width on Trofeo SUD
Post by: WhiteAlfaGTV6 on May 09, 2009, 08:53:44 AM
Hi All,

How do you get the width on the rear end of the racing suds. Is that just a large offset of the 8" wheel or some lengthening of the rear rigid axle. Another thought, Do you use LSD in them??

Cheers,
Lee.

A link to the original parts list, look like just huge wheel offset.

Sheldon its not so much as a huge offset as a wide rim.The actual backspace on the 8 inch rim or a five and a half inch rim would/should be the same.

I didn't notice when this was originally posted...

The original Trofeo wheels were 13x8" rims with an offset (ET) of 8mm.  That'll push them a long way further out than the standard wheels with more offset.  Thinking about this at the moment if I can get a replica set of flares.
