Any one know of a self serve car wash close to chadstone? Gotta wash my 156. Thanks
corner of Poath and North roads
Maybe a few k's north but try A1 car wash 89 Highbury Rd Burwood. $10.00 cash for a wash & go. If you have got a black car, it is the best $10.00 you will spend and you don't get wet.
I do think that you are game to put your Alfa through one of the automated car washes....unless its a new model Alfa cause all the old models will leak and you end up more wet than washing the car yourself!
Its hand wash, and the operators wear protective gear "turbans".
Bump,
When i purchased the Alfetta last year i put it through an automated car wash . Half way through i thought i was going to drown . Never Aagain
Corner of Poath & North is a self serve - Carlovers The Ultimate Car Wash
Chuck a couple of $ in the machine select the soap or high pressure etc and do the hard work yourself !
No matter what car it was ( perhaps a rental car ) I wouldn't use a drive through auto car wash..
TRY:
- 1 -
BP Service Station on western side Warrigal Road between Middle Road (big entry/exit to Chadstone Shopping Centre) and Midlothian Street.
- 2 -
Near intersection Dandenong Road and Ferntree Gully Road: actually corner Ferntree Gully Road and Stamford Road.
Thank you all. I just came back from BP Service Station Automatic Car Wash.
My Alfa is a grey 2001 156 2.0 SS, now with many big stickers of Hello Kitty (gf insisted).
Hmmm. Japanese Stickers on an Italian Car? :-[. The ALFA gods are the jealous type, you're asking for a breakdown.
Desman the BP is close but if it's kitty your after get the real thing on the corner of Warrigal and north road. The name of the car wash escapes me but every time I drive by the view of the scantily clad ladies hand washing cars is well pretty good actually?
Give it a go you won't mind waiting whilst the ladies do their stuff.
