Title: GTV6 Thermostat Housing
Post by: WhiteAlfaGTV6 on May 03, 2009, 10:08:23 AM
Hi All,

I have so far been unable to chase a replacement thermostat housing. I can however get a 164 housing but this then leaves me with the issue that the centre section below the housing has the sensors in the wrong place, or to put it another way they interfere with the orientation of the top housing. Is it possible to blank off the original sensor locations and have new ones fitted in a different location. This may be difficult with cast alloy? Any opinions welcome.

Cheers,
Lee.

No, You're quite right. I thought abought getting that changed, but have to weld a spigot at a different angle, if that was possible.

Thanks, I will give Hugh a call.
