Post by: BradGTV on April 26, 2009, 08:52:35 PM
hi, my name is brad im from adelaide

im 14 and own a 1985 GTV 2.0,      it needs some work -

it has minor rust in the front right hand fender (if anyone local could help me out with a repair section)

and behind the rear bumper

it needs a new paint job and the front seats re-trimmed (can i get the original black with gray pin-stripe material??)

and has usual gearbox syncro problems.

other than that it is a good project. :)

Welcome Brad,

14 and into and Alfa.....that's awesome!!  I was going to type something about the cars I was into when I was 14 and I decided against it, I would just make myself sound old and make a goose of myself at the same time!!

Brad,

Get out while your still young, you have your whole life ahead of you.

No seriously an Alfa of that vintage is a great way to learn about cars. The love and affection you bestow on the car will be rewarded with a memorable driving experience and a great introduction to motoring.

Cheers

Paul
