Title: clutch on gtv6
Post by: franck on April 07, 2009, 10:10:32 PM
G'day guys, the clutch on my gtv6 i think is trying to tell me something that im not sure i understand, so some assistance from you would help no doubt, car has 120k, and is not the original twin plate, car only driven by me and usually always gear changes at 4-4500 revs, however the last drive decided to play a little and took it to 6000 in second and third gear, not droping the clutch between changes but once in gear in  ;D progressivley flat to the floor acceleration, no slipping but the strongest smell of clutch/rubber in the cabin ive ever experienced, and then from standstill normal takeoff shuddering, any ideas? clutch does not slip i can use all the torque available up a hill and no slipage, but at high revs it stinks.... i dont think its me either!
