Title: F1 10 minute session just run
Post by: Team Jacobs on March 26, 2009, 08:59:47 AM
Sitting on my back Prahran veranda I have just enjoyed a 10 minute F1 car run , lovely noise to drink my coffee over. Very loud given its such a still morning.Looked at net and could'nt see this run schedualed so assume just a track clearing saftey check or twin seater minardi test or such. I know its got critics but once those motors fire up it all seems to melt away.JJ.

Good to hear that the F1's are back. More importantly is Team Jacobs nearly back. Will the the 75 make it for Sandown???

Paul there is a lot to be said for carbies. There is more wiring and electronic garb hanging around than there should reasonabily be!
Lets just say that advice always given about buy the best example you can afford , well its true.
I think the total cost  in parts will be about the same but if you added in the man hours it would be a massive loss.
Still a bit away I am afraid.
Its madness but I might run the 105 around Sandown just to see what top speed it'll do now its run in!
Any how in the hands of the chief mechanic as only he knows whats in all the ice cream containers - cheers JJ.

Forza Italia, can't wait for practice and the race. There is a lot of excitemnet about Ferrarri's times, hope this traslates into some winning form and Kimi extracts a digit this year and gets back to his sublime best.
