Title: interior options
Post by: dehne on March 12, 2009, 11:04:40 PM
hi all does anybody know how much if any modifications to put the leather seats front and rear from a 156 into a 90. As i finally got the road 90 on the road again and i think she deserves a treat for me taking so long to fix her
thanks

You need to redrill the seats to fit the 90 rails onto it.  The passenger seat fits well, but drivers' side is a very tight fit.  Apparently.  This is what I've read from  two guys who've done it.  One to a 90, one a 75.

Good luck, would love to see pics when you do it.

When I wanted to fit 156 seats to my Giulietta I found that the distance between the seat rails is less than for the original seats so I made up spacers from aluminium and drilled the required holes and tapped threads to suit the existing mounting points. Not too difficult but you need to measure carefully.

I have a pair of 156 front seat with spacers available. Will put photos up on the site when I get myself organised enough.
